- All information found in outlook is centralized on the server for all users and would be backed up.
- SBS allows you to easily create restricted folder access based on departments or people. (Example management only having access to employee reviews.)
- A SBS server allows for centralized anti-virus deployment so the security and health of the network can be monitored.
- Users can collaborate with each other, creating centralized contacts, calendars, room mailboxes for meeting rooms.
- Users can delegate access to all or portions of their outlook. (For example a Boss can give permission for an assistant to schedule his appointments and respond to emails).
- Users have access to outlook on the web, where all you need is an internet connection and a web browser to see all your Outlook info.
- SBS allows complete live synchronization with Windows Mobile phones. Blackberry can be added using software.
- SBS would allow you to seamlessly store all your data from your MyDocuments folder onto the server and yet still let laptop users take it with them.
- A centralized Drive share would allow you to have all your corporate data in one place so you can be assured it is backed up and you do not have version problems mentioned above.
- Remote Desktop access through the SBS server allows staff to run their office pc from any outside pc (home, web cafe��, hotels etc).
